Stagelines and Weather
Stageline stages are a marvel of engineering and an excellent Canadian product. As a stage with a roof, it lets us hold events even in the rain, which is great for rain-or-shine events where you may be concerned that you will need to provide refunds if the event is cancelled.
However, there are some non-negotiable weather situations where a Sherwood employee will HAVE to shut down an event. This guide details those situations.
Lightning
In the event that a lightning strike is reported within a 12 km radius of the stage, the Stageline must shut down for 30 minutes. The event cannot recommence until a Sherwood employee confirms that everything is good to go.
Wind Guidelines
Stageline provides us with weather guidelines for how much wind the stage can withstand. Note that these guidelines involve the banner system.
